The deck known as Mantegna Tarot was printed in Italy around 1465. It was then redesigned and engraved in Germany by Johann Ladenspelder around 1540. This is the only reprint absolutely faithful to the ancient version.
These 50 wonderful cards, enriched by a golden border, are a kind of ladder that unites the earth to the sky and takes the human mind to the highest levels. The deck is accompanied by a 98-page booklet that explains the symbolism of the images, the ways to evolve the personality and develop intellectual skills.

A booklet written by Giordano Berti reveals for the first time the true origins of these cards and the single images that compose it, shows their similarities with the classic Tarot, explains the wonderful philosophy which unites the Spheres heavenly to the hosts of Angels, to the Virtues, to the Arts and to the various human conditions. Finally, the Author describes the use according the medieval Ars combinatoria, to draw information on the world around us and on our material and spiritual destiny. A PERSONAL DEDICATION handwritten by Giordano Berti is added to each package.
